Lowry Speaker Series 7-8:30P

The Lowry Speaker Series presents “Getting Started in Genealogy” on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 7:00pm-8:30pm at the Eisenhower Chapel, 293 Roslyn Street (on Lowry).  James Jeffrey, Genealogy Specialist in Denver Public Library’s Western History and Genealogy Department, will talk about the variety of research tools and services available at the library and online.  Mr. Jeffrey will discuss how to access and use the collections, how to explore new ones, and how to organize materials.  He will offer guidance and help connect researchers with resources to explore ancestors and the world in which they lived.

Admission is free; no reservations are necessary.

The Lowry Speaker Series is sponsored by the Lowry Foundation, who brings four speakers a year to the Lowry community on a variety of topics.
